Trefl used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Baku 92-63 on Wednesday night. Trefl dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Neftci 's 28. They outrebounded Neftci 45-23 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Trefl looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Paul Scruggs (190-1998, college: Xavier) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Power forward Mikolaj Witlinski (207-1995) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Four Trefl players scored in double figures. Trefl's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players saving starting five for next games. Forward Clarence Daniels (198-2000, college: UNH) produced 15 points, 8 assists and 4 steals and American guard Devonte Green (190-1997, college: Indiana) added 9 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side.
